A high-growth consumer business with multiple revenue streams is currently looking for a hands-on finance professional to step into a Financial Controller role as they continue to scale.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who has already run a finance function in an SME environment and is ready to take the next step in their career. With a clear path to Finance Director, this role offers genuine progression for someone with the right mindset and capability.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance function, maintaining and improving the control environment, and producing timely and accurate reports. You’ll also be expected to deliver commercial analysis and insights to support profit and cash optimisation, alongside managing the budgeting and forecasting process.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with experience in a growing, fast-moving business—ideally with exposure to the retail or broader consumer sectors. Experience leading small teams is desirable, as the role includes two direct reports. More importantly, you'll bring a practical, problem-solving mindset and the ambition to grow with the business.

This is an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with a high degree of flexibility, but the same is expected in return when priorities shift or key deadlines approach.
