Four Squared Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Financial Controller for a fast‑growing tech business in Cheltenham. You will lead the finance function, own month-end, and deliver robust MI and commercial reporting to support rapid growth.

Ideal candidates are ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong management accounting, forecasting and financial control experience, plus a hands-on SME mindset and interest in automation and AI-led improvement.

My client is a fast-growing technology business experiencing exceptional growth, with turnover set to double from £3m to £6m this year alone.

With their current Finance Manager moving on, they are looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to lead the finance function, improve business intelligence and reporting, and help shape the next stage of growth.

The Opportunity

• Lead the day-to-day finance function and own the month-end process
• Produce meaningful management information, dashboards and commercial reporting
• Improve the quality, accuracy and accessibility of financial data across the business
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Analyse operating costs and identify efficiency opportunities
• Support strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis
• Review, improve and automate finance processes using AI and technology
• Build scalable systems and controls capable of supporting continued growth
• Become a key strategic partner to the senior leadership team as the business evolves

About You

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Strong management accounting, forecasting and financial control expertise
• Experience improving reporting, MI and business intelligence
