Michael Page Finance partners with a fast-growing group to recruit a Financial Controller responsible for financial reporting, controls, compliance, and business performance across diverse entities including property, hospitality and investments.

This hands-on role combines strategic oversight with close attention to detail, leading improvements in reporting systems and processes while engaging senior leadership and supporting funding initiatives.

Formación

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is required.
• Experience at Financial Controller level or similar.
• Strong skills in producing management, statutory accounts and board reporting.
• Experience managing audits and external stakeholders.
• Excellent cash flow forecasting and financial planning abilities.
• Strong systems and data analysis capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Produce monthly management accounts (P/L, balance sheet, cash flow) for multiple entities.
• Prepare board packs with insightful commentary.
• Own weekly and long-term cash flow forecasting.
• Lead group consolidation process improvements.
• Prepare statutory accounts and coordinate year-end reporting.
• Manage external audits and key stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee lender reporting, covenants and investor reporting.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and KPI reporting frameworks.
• Support strategic business planning and funding initiatives.
• Oversee payroll, VAT, PAYE and regulatory compliance.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Financial Controller will take ownership of financial reporting, controls, compliance and business performance across a diverse group structure. This is a hands-on position suited to an individual who enjoys operating strategically whilst remaining close to the detail. The successful candidate will lead improvements across reporting, systems and processes.

This is a newly created opportunity within a diverse and growing business operating across multiple sectors including property investment, property development, hospitality, leisure and alternative investments. Following a period of significant growth, the business is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to bring greater rigour, commercial insight and process improvement to its finance function. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to play a key part in shaping the future finance function within a fast moving and ambitious organisation.

Description

• Production of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting across multiple entities.
• Preparation of board packs with insightful financial and operational commentary.
• Ownership of weekly and long-term cash flow forecasting.
• Management and enhancement of the group consolidation process.
• Preparation of statutory accounts and coordination of year-end reporting requirements.
• Management of external audits and key stakeholder relationships.
• Oversight of lender reporting, loan covenant compliance and investor reporting.
• Development of budgets, forecasts and KPI reporting frameworks.
• Supporting strategic business planning and funding initiatives.
• Oversight of payroll, VAT, PAYE and regulatory compliance activities.

Profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Previous Financial Controller experience or a proven track record operating at a senior finance level.
• Strong experience producing management accounts, statutory accounts and board reporting.
• Experience managing audit processes and external stakeholders.
• Excellent cash flow forecasting and financial planning skills.
• Strong systems, Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Ability to operate within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job Offer

• Salary of £60,000 to £75,000 dependent on the level of experience.
