Job summary

CY Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its leadership team in a manufacturing setting. The role focuses on driving financial controls, profitability, and strategic decision-making in collaboration with operations.

The ideal candidate will manage the finance function, partner with production teams, and lead a small team to deliver accurate reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (QBE acceptable with industry experience).
• Experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role.
• Manufacturing costing and KPIs experience.
• Strong financial analysis and business partnering skills.
• Proficient in ERP and Excel.
• Proactive, commercially minded with leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance function and ensure timely reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and KPIs.
• Analyse manufacturing costs and inventory performance.
• Develop robust financial controls and processes.

An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Finance Manager to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to play a key role in supporting operational performance, driving financial controls, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Reporting directly to senior management, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the finance function while partnering closely with operational and production teams to improve profitability and efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance indicators.
• Analyse manufacturing costs, production efficiencies, and inventory performance.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
• Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
• Manage statutory reporting, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). QBE considered if strong experience from specific industry.
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role.
• Strong background within manufacturing, engineering, or a production-based environment.
• Excellent financial analysis and business partnering skills.
• Experience of costing, inventory management, and manufacturing KPIs.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
