Job summary

IPS Finance is seeking an experienced Financial Controller for a Market Weighton based manufacturing business. You will lead a small finance team and own month-end and group reporting.

You will manage budgets, forecasts and cash flow, analyse manufacturing costs, margins and operational performance, and maintain strong financial controls and balance sheet integrity. ERP driven reporting will underpin commercial decision-making for senior management.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Background in an SME, subsidiary or divisional finance environment.
• Experience reporting into a wider group structure.
• Strong ERP systems experience.
• Confident with Excel, reporting and financial analysis.
• Previous team management experience.
• Comfortable combining hands-on finance with commercial support.

An established manufacturing business in the Market Weighton area is looking to appoint a Financial Controller. Part of a wider group, the business requires an experienced finance professional to lead the finance function and provide accurate reporting and commercial insight.

Leading a small finance team, you will take ownership of financial reporting and controls, with a particular focus on manufacturing performance, ERP driven reporting.
