Job summary

Cy Resourcing is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join its leadership team in the UK. The role partners with production and operations to drive profitability, oversee budgeting, forecasting, and controls, and deliver strategic financial insight.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with manufacturing sector experience, strong analytical and people-management skills, and proficiency with ERP systems and Excel. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or strong industry experience.
• Experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role.
• Manufacturing, engineering or production-based background.
• Strong financial analysis and business partnering skills.
• Experience of costing, inventory management and KPIs.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficient with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Commercial mindset with proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day finance function with timely reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and performance indicators.
• Analyse manufacturing costs, production efficiencies and inventory.
• Develop robust financial controls and processes.

An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Finance Manager to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to play a key role in supporting operational performance, driving financial controls, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Reporting directly to senior management, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the finance function while partnering closely with operational and production teams to improve profitability and efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance indicators.
• Analyse manufacturing costs, production efficiencies, and inventory performance.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
• Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
• Manage statutory reporting, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). QBE considered if strong experience from specific industry.
• Previous experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role.
• Strong background within manufacturing, engineering, or a production-based environment.
• Excellent financial analysis and business partnering skills.
• Experience of costing, inventory management, and manufacturing KPIs.
