Job summary

CY Executive Resourcing is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a leading manufacturing business. You will lead the finance function, partner with production teams, and drive profitability and efficiency across the operation.

Reporting to senior management, you will oversee monthly reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and controls while developing the team and ensuring regulatory compliance. A fully qualified accountant with manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent; QBE considered if strong industry experience.
• Experience as Finance Manager or senior finance role.
• Strong background in manufacturing, engineering, or production-based environment.
• Excellent financial analysis and business partnering skills.
• Experience costing, inventory management and KPIs in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership and team development capabilities.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day finance function with accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and financial performance indicators.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, production efficiencies and inventory performance.
• Develop and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
• Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audits and compliance.
• Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified finance professional to play a key role in supporting operational performance, driving financial controls, and contributing to strategic decision‑making. Reporting directly to senior management, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the finance function while partnering closely with operational and production teams to improve profitability and efficiency across the business.
