We are seeking a keen Financial Controller to manage the company's financial health by overseeing accounting operations and driving efficiencies across the business. The ideal candidate should have a background in manufacturing and be familiar with cash flow management, audits, budget preparations, and managing accounting activities.

Description

• Develop financial strategies, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting.
• Manage a team of 2 individuals.
• Consolidate budgets regularly.
• Manage cash flow.
• Improve efficiencies and reduce costs across the business.
• Ensure compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations.
• Process payroll.
• Partner with management and Directors, share reports, and analyze findings to drive improvements in ERP and stock management.
• Handle management accounting, analysis, and reporting.
• Prepare month-end financials within tight deadlines.
• Prepare annual statutory financial statements.
• Review monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage external and internal audits.
• Forecast and track cash flow.
• Support ad hoc projects to improve processes, systems, and efficiencies.

Profile

• Relevant professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with approximately 3 years of PQE.
• Background in manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills and active listening.
• High computer literacy, IT skills, and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and stock management.
• Commercial mindset and approach.
• Strong data analysis skills with attention to accuracy.
• Confident and resilient personality.
