This is an exciting opportunity to join the business and work closely with the CFO, playing a key role in financial management. You will be a vital part of the finance team, providing accurate and insightful financial information to support decision-making and growth. You will also help shape the future growth of the interconnected business entities, contributing to long-term profitability and leading the development of the finance team.
The role involves leading and delivering special projects such as process improvements, system upgrades, or supporting new business integrations. You will also drive financial efficiency initiatives, support business growth, and enhance financial reporting across the network.
Note: Travel to a larger business site in West Birmingham may be required once or twice a week.

About the role:
Leading a finance team of three (1 management accountant and 2 finance assistants), you will collaborate with internal stakeholders including operations, sales, and finance, as well as key customers and suppliers.
Key responsibilities include:
Financial Reporting and Analysis

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight
Budgeting and Forecasting
Internal Controls
Payroll
About You:
You will be a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant with relevant experience. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and data analysis tools (Excel, PowerBI) is essential. You should possess strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills. Industry experience in automotive is advantageous but not required.
