Job summary

Buro Happold in Bath is seeking a highly organised Project Coordinator to join our Finance PMO on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will support project managers, maintain plans and governance records, and help deliver a busy transformation portfolio.

This hybrid role blends structured coordination with stakeholder engagement, offering exposure to senior leadership and a chance to shape delivery across finance projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Project Coordinator, PMO Analyst, Project Administrator or similar role.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Experience taking accurate meeting minutes and managing action logs.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• A proactive approach and commitment to following tasks through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Project Managers by maintaining project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, milestone plans and project documentation.
• Organising and facilitating project meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking and action tracking.
• Producing project status reports, dashboards and steering committee packs.
• Supporting project onboarding, close-down activities and lessons learned reviews.
• Coordinating transformation governance activities, including demand forums, change requests and prioritisation processes.
• Maintaining governance records, decision logs and portfolio reporting information.
• Supporting updates to finance policies and procedures, ensuring accurate version control and stakeholder sign-off.
• Building professional presentations and reports for leadership meetings.
• Acting as a central point of contact for project and governance queries.
• Following up with stakeholders to ensure actions, deadlines and deliverables are completed on time.
