Job summary

Trafford Council is recruiting for a Finance Systems role within Financial Management to maintain the integrity of financial data by processing transactions quickly and accurately.

The role involves extracting and manipulating large data volumes from multiple systems, resolving incidents with support from senior staff, and building strong relationships with clients and Members to promote a positive image of the service. Hybrid working is supported.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the integrity of financial data by processing authorised transactions quickly and accurately.
• Clearing down control accounts, investigating system failures and identifying solutions with senior staff support.
• Extracting and manipulating potentially large volumes of data from multiple systems as directed.
• Developing and maintaining effective client and Member relationships to promote a positive image of the service.
