Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Systems Accountant to join the Financial Policy & Transformation team in East London. The role focuses on maintaining and developing the Council''s financial systems, ensuring data accuracy, security and robust reporting capabilities.

You will work with Finance, HR, Payroll, IT and other teams to support month-end and year-end activities, develop management information, and drive system improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Accounting/ Finance or related field with finance experience.
• Part-qualified CCAB with finance experience.
• Fully qualified AAT Level 4 with finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, administer and optimise the council''s financial systems.
• Manage user access, workflows and chart of accounts configurations.
• Perform data validation and integrity checks on financial data.
