Paragon Banking Group PLC is seeking a Finance Systems Specialist to lead the improvement and automation of finance systems across the business. The role focuses on enhancing interfaces, reporting integrity and aligning finance with strategic objectives.

You will collaborate with Finance, IT and data teams to implement scalable solutions, strengthen controls and enable efficient operations in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Strong finance systems expertise and solid knowledge of accounting principles.
• Ability to analyse complex financial data and translate requirements into system solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to drive change initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance Systems Improvement: Drive the development, optimisation and ongoing enhancement of finance systems, processes and controls to support business growth and operational excellence.
• Build and Monitor Finance Interfaces: Manage daily monitoring, maintenance and enhancement of finance system interfaces and integrations.
• Enhance Reporting & Data Integrity: Support accurate financial, management and regulatory reporting by maintaining robust data and controls.
• Partner Across the Business: Work with Finance, Data Analytics, IT and wider teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Drive Automation & Continuous Improvement: Champion automation and best practices to improve efficiency and controls.
