Job summary

SystemsAccountants is seeking a Head of Finance System Transformation to lead development, performance and continuous improvement of the finance systems landscape, including ownership of the ERP. You will drive automation, governance and data integrity to support strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CIPFA or equivalent with strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Significant experience managing finance systems and leading system improvements.
• Skilled in integrations, automation, user stories, test scripts and UAT.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement and lead transformation initiatives.
• Strong communicator able to explain technical concepts and collaborate across departments.
• Focus on innovation, efficiency and strengthening financial control through better systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee access controls, licence management and master-data governance across ERP and related systems.
• Manage configuration changes, risk mitigation and audit/compliance requirements.
• Develop and deliver a finance systems roadmap aligned to organisational strategy, identifying automation opportunities.
• Lead system improvement and transformation projects from concept to delivery, including testing and deployment.
• Ensure day-to-day integrity of finance systems and improvements to reporting, budgeting, forecasting and year-end processes.
• Manage other staff to drive efficiency and improvement.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Technology and operations; liaise with external vendors, consultants and auditors.
