Job summary

IFS is seeking a Financials Pre‑Sales Consultant to join our UK Pre‑Sales team. This role combines finance process knowledge with solution storytelling and AI-enabled demonstrations to shape customer engagements and value‑led demos.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Presales to translate finance priorities into compelling demonstrations, covering GL, AP, AR, FA, project accounting, and reporting, while willing to travel nationally.

Qualifications

University degree, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
3+ years’ experience in finance, accounting, FP&A or finance operations.
Ability to translate finance processes into customer conversations.
Knowledge of AI and modern software engineering practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery workshops, meetings and demonstrations for finance-focused opportunities.
Articulate finance challenges across close, reporting, budgeting, and cash management.
Design compelling demo scenarios aligned with client objectives and IFS differentiators.
Demonstrate core finance processes: GL, AP, AR, FA, project accounting and reporting.
Collaborate with sales, product and presales to progress opportunities across the UK.
Contribute to RFIs, RFPs and customer proposals.
