About the team:

The Societe Generale International Limited (SGIL) Finance Division (DFIN) manages:

  • Financial and budgetary strategy of SGIL and its investment and development policies;
  • Management of SGIL's resources (liquidity and capital);
  • Profitability analysis of activities across clients, businesses, and geographies;
  • Certification of SGIL accounts, ensuring accounting quality and valuation accuracy;
  • Support on accounting standards, taxation, resources, and regulation topics.
Summary of Key Purposes of the Role:
  • Contribute to the regulatory change agenda for UK CRR reporting, including COREP, Large Exposures, Leverage, LCR, NSFR PRA110, and FINREP.
  • Interpret regulatory changes and assess their impact on reporting and systems.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve processes, controls, and system implementations.
  • Follow up on regulatory interpretation topics to ensure compliance and liaise with Group.
  • Enhance the control framework covering the full regulatory reporting perimeter, including documentation.
  • Support colleagues in producing regulatory metrics as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement new regulatory requirements into metrics, transitioning to BAU processes.
  • Ensure adherence to UK CRR requirements and update methodology and process documentation.
  • Enhance control frameworks for Solvency, FINREP, and Asset Encumbrance reporting.
  • Work with Group teams to improve processes and controls.
  • Address issues identified in change roadmap audits.
  • Assess impacts of new products and support ad-hoc requests from business lines.

Continuously improve processes within the team, leveraging automation where possible.

Profile Required:
  • Experience in regulatory production and controls framework.
  • Advanced knowledge of UK CRR – Liquidity, Solvency, and FINREP.
  • Strong understanding of balance sheet modeling and its impact on regulatory metrics.
  • Good accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, for international communication.
  • Desire to acquire comprehensive knowledge of regulatory topics.
  • High level of autonomy after a learning period.
  • Team player, approachable, adaptable, innovative, and able to drive change.
