• Ability to process payroll for teaching, therapy and support staff and apply salary scales and entitlements correctly.
• Knowledge of HMRC submissions and pension schemes (LGPS and TPS) and related record-keeping.

Aufgaben

• Use IPlicit to support day-to-day financial administration and maintain records.
• Complete month-end tasks and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Perform reconciliations, including payroll and balance sheet accounts.
• Review trial balance and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare journals for accruals, prepayments and adjustments.
• Maintain VAT records, returns and reconciliations.
• Support procurement processes and supplier contracts.
• Monitor compliance with finance, VAT, pension and procurement requirements.
• Provide financial information for audits, inspections and reporting.
• Support managers and colleagues with finance procedures.
• Manage payroll using People First from MHR and liaise with HR for starters/leavers.
• Process overtime, salary changes, deductions and other payroll adjustments.
• Ensure payroll information is stored securely and filed correctly.
• Respond to staff pay and pensions queries.
