Job summary

Prince Personnel are recruiting a Payroll HR Officer for a permanent role based in Telford. You will manage end-to-end UK payroll and HR administration to support the full employee lifecycle.

Key duties include processing weekly/monthly payroll, RTI submissions to HMRC, payroll queries, auto-enrolment, year-end tasks, and data integrity across HR systems. Solid Excel skills and payroll software experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience running end-to-end UK payroll and statutory payments.
• Proficient in RTI submissions and PAYE processing.
• Experience with pensions auto-enrolment and year-end tasks.
• Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables) and payroll software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll for all employees.
• Collect, check and input variable pay data such as overtime, shift premiums, bonuses, deductions and timesheet data.
• Process starters, leavers and changes to pay, hours and contracts.
• Submit RTI to HMRC and manage PAYE, NI and pension deductions.
• Administer workplace pension auto-enrolment and year-end outputs (P60s, P11D).
• Maintain accurate employee records on HR/payroll systems and prepare reports.
