Job summary
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead is recruiting a Finance Business Partner for Resources and Commissioned Services. The role is full-time, with hybrid working and a salary of £61,961 - £67,471 per annum.
You will lead financial advice, oversee commissioned services with value for money, and develop a small team while supporting senior leaders. The role reports to the Head of Finance Business Partnering in a dynamic, modern finance function.
Qualifications
- Qualified CCAB or equivalent with post-qualification experience.
- Experience in financial management, business partnering and strategic financial advice.
- Local government experience desirable but not essential; transferable skills from other sectors accepted.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and engage with senior managers.
Responsibilities
- Lead as Finance Business Partner for the Resources Directorate.
- Provide oversight of the Council's contract with Achieving for Children; ensure value for money.
- Manage and develop a small team of finance professionals.
- Contribute as a senior member of the finance leadership team and help shape service direction.
