Job summary

Cedar, in partnership with a well-established central London communications business, is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager. You will be the hands-on finance lead, guiding accounts payable, invoicing, VAT, and month-end reporting in a small, visible team.

With 3+ years in finance and strong Xero knowledge, you will interact with senior stakeholders, manage contracts and payroll, and contribute to wider operations in a hybrid London setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of finance experience.
• Strong Xero experience - essential.
• AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA.
• Good knowledge of UK VAT.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident dealing with clients, suppliers and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, expenses and payments.
• Own sales invoicing, credit control and cash management.
• Complete bank reconciliations and VAT preparation.
• Support month-end and management reporting.
• Manage client contracts, onboarding and compliance.
• Track sales, expenses and client recharges.
• Manage timesheets, resource tracking and reporting.
• Support payroll, HR and wider business operations.
