Job summary

Cedar is partnering with a fast-growing PE-backed SaaS business to recruit a Finance Manager into a newly created role. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will lead a small team and own month-end reporting across multiple group entities.

Key duties include monthly close, balance-sheet reconciliations, intercompany and FX, payroll processing, cash forecasting and supporting audits and R&D tax reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong financial accounting and month-end close skills.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus and beneficial.
• Ability to supervise a team and support day-to-day finance activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, preparing management accounts and draft statutory financial statements.
• Reviewing balance-sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and lease schedules.
• Managing multi-currency accounting, intercompany reconciliations and FX movements.
• Overseeing payroll processing and accounting, while supporting cash forecasting, payment runs and credit control.
• Maintaining financial controls, supporting audits and owning R&D reporting for the Tax team.
• Improving NetSuite processes and reporting, alongside leading and developing the team.

With the business on a buy-and-build journey, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad finance remit and help strengthen processes and controls as the group expands.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you'll manage a small team in a hands-on role with responsibility for delivering accurate reporting across multiple Group entities.

Cedar is looking for a qualified or part-qualified accountant, with strong financial accounting and month-end close skills. Practical NetSuite experience is a benefit, alongside the confidence to supervise a team and support day-to-day finance activities when needed.
