Job summary

Cedar is seeking a Head of Finance in Central London with a hybrid working model. You will lead multi-entity financial control, deliver insightful management information, forecasting and investor reporting to drive strategic decisions.

The role requires a Practice-trained Chartered Accountant with strong modelling, communication and hands-on leadership to scale a fast-growth proptech business and optimise capital allocation.

Qualifications

• Chartered accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Impressive academic record and intellectual horsepower.
• Experience shaping finance functions in scaling environments.
• Hands-on leader capable of rapid value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-entity financial control, reporting and operations.
• Provide MIS, forecasting, unit economics and investor reporting.
• Drive automation and AI to improve finance efficiency.
• Lead and coach a small finance team with strong controls.
• Improve reporting accuracy, timeliness and controls.
• Build, update and maintain key financial models.
• Monitor covenants, financing, working capital and cash flow.
• Support strategy, capital allocation and fundraising readiness.
