Job summary

Cedar is partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed SaaS business to appoint a Finance Director. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the financial direction of the business and a key seat at the table alongside the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.

The role will own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management, with board reporting, investor updates and robust SaaS metrics.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in SaaS, technology or recurring-revenue environments.
• Strong FP&A and financial modelling skills.
• Experience presenting to Board and senior stakeholders.

Finance Director

PE-Backed SaaS Business | London | Hybrid

Cedar is partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed SaaS business to appoint a Finance Director. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the financial direction of the business and a key seat at the table alongside the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.

The Role

You will take ownership of:

• Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and the company’s financial model.
• Board reporting, management accounts, cash flow and performance analysis.
• SaaS metrics and unit economics, including ARR, MRR, ACV, CAC, NRR and gross margin.
• Commercial decision-making across pricing, contracts, investment and growth.
• Investor reporting and supporting future fund raising activity.
• Financial controls, statutory compliance and governance.
• Developing and scaling the finance function, systems and processes.

About You

We are looking for a qualified accountant with experience in a SaaS, technology or recurring-revenue environment. You will need strong FP&A and financial modelling skills, alongside the commercial confidence to influence senior stakeholders and present to the Board.

Experience of working with private equity investors, SaaS metrics and scaling finance teams would be highly advantageous.
