Job summary

Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust is inviting an enthusiastic, well-motivated individual to join our Management Accounts Team within the NHS Humber Health Partnership. You will assist in providing management accounting information, support budgeting, maintain the general ledger, and produce monthly performance reports used by Care Groups and Management.

The role requires GCSE level education with progression towards AAT Level 3, strong Excel skills, and experience with computerised

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level and studying towards AAT Level 3.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience of computerised financial systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision of management accounting information and financial advice to service areas.
• Maintain and update the General Ledger; ensure monthly quality information.
• Provide monthly recharges to external bodies and assist with income recovery.
• Maintain establishment data, comparing staff in post against budget across divisions.
• Liaise with Budget Holders and external organisations on financial charges and budgets.
• Reconcile finance data with external parties and manage invoicing to ensure timely income.
• Create, maintain and distribute monthly financial performance reports.
• Analyze financial data using computerised systems and adhere to Standing Financial Instructions.
• Support Senior Finance Officers as required.
