Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd in Hull is seeking a Management Accountant to join a collaborative finance team. You will take ownership of accounting activities and contribute to accurate financial reporting.

The role covers bank reconciliations, accruals and year-end support, plus daily transactions and process improvements. You should have practical accounting experience, AAT Level 3 or equivalent, strong Excel skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end accounting processes.
• Experience preparing or supporting management accounts and year-end reporting.
• AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting activities including year-end information and reporting.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare accruals, prepayments and supporting schedules.
• Manage day-to-day transactions: invoicing, payments, credit control.
• Support the team and help improve financial processes.
