Job summary

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Finance Officer to join the Management Accounts Team. The role involves assisting with management accounting information and advising non-financial managers within the NHS framework.

Ideal candidates will have GCSEs, be progressing with AAT Level 3, and be proficient in Excel and office financial systems. Based across Castle Hill Cottingham or Diana Princess of Wales Hospital Grimsby, with rare travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs Grades A-C including Maths and English.
• Studying towards AAT Level 3.
• Willing to study towards AAT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and update of the General Ledger.
• Provide monthly recharges to external bodies and assist with income recovery.
• Maintain establishment data comparing staff in post against budget.
