Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Finance Officer to join the Management Accounts Team. You will assist in providing management accounting information and financial advice to service areas, with a focus on timely reporting and accurate ledger maintenance.

The role involves updating the General Ledger, preparing monthly performance reports, and supporting cost recovery across NHS and external bodies. NHS environment experience and strong Excel skills are essential.

Formación

• GCSE level required.
• Studying towards AAT level 3.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Experience with computerised financial systems desirable.
• Ability to provide clear financial information to non-finance managers under deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain/update the General Ledger and produce monthly quality information for Care Groups and Management.
• Prepare monthly recharges to NHS and external bodies and assist income recovery.
• Maintain establishment data and staff in post against budget across divisions.
• Liaise with Budget Holders and external organisations regarding financial charges and budgets.
• Create, maintain and distribute monthly financial performance reports for Management.
• Analyse financial data using computerised systems as required.
• Work to Standing Financial Instructions and related guidelines.
• Support Senior Finance Officers as needed.
