Job summary

NHS Humber Health Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic Management Accounts Assistant to join the Management Accounts Team within the Financial Management Team. You will assist in providing management accounting information and offer financial advice to Service Areas across the Trust.

The role requires GCSE level education, study towards AAT Level 3, strong Excel skills, and experience with computerised financial systems.

Qualifications

GCSE level education and studying towards AAT Level 3.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Experience with computerised financial systems desirable.
Ability to work to strict deadlines and provide clear financial information to non-financial managers.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining and updating the General Ledger and monthly quality information for interpretation by Care Groups and Management.
Provide monthly recharges to external bodies and assist with income recovery.
Maintain up-to-date establishment by comparing staff in post against budget across Divisions.
Liaise with Budget Holders and external organisations on financial charges and annual budgets.
Prepare and distribute monthly financial performance reports and analyze data using computerised systems.
Work in line with Standing Financial Instructions and support Senior Finance Officers as required.
