Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Finance Officer to support the Fleet Finance debt management team. You will verify and prepare debtor invoices, chase debtors to maximise income, and input data into financial systems.

You will handle queries via email and telephone from staff, customers, suppliers, and patients, ensuring timely resolution. You will be part of the Financial Services team (≈45 members) delivering around 260,000 invoices and raising 110,000 debtor invoices

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 4 or above.
• NVQ Level 3 or AAT Intermediate level or equivalent.
• ECDL Advanced Level or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Process financial invoices, receipts, and payments in line with procedures.
• Inputs data into the General Ledger and journals.
• Investigate and resolve invoice/payment queries with staff and customers.
• Support KPI delivery and maintain strong customer service and cash flow.
