Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant based at St Mary's Hospital in Kettering. The role involves inputting invoices and credit notes, reconciling supplier statements, and handling queries by phone or email within a supportive finance team.

You will work to BPPC guidelines, support budget managers, and contribute to an efficient purchase ledger. Ideal candidates will have customer service experience and a basic understanding of finance and purchase

The Financial Services team have a vacancy for an accounts payable assistant based at our site at St. Mary's Hospital.

This role would be ideal for a candidate who has experience of customer service and accounts payable processes.

Main duties of the job

This role involves inputting invoices and credit notes onto the ledger, reconciling statements, dealing with queries by phone or email, building relationships with suppliers and with budget managers within the organisation.

The successful candidate will be expected to work within a small team, to ensure that invoices are processed in line with the Better Payment Practice Code.
