Job summary

Alexander Daniels Limited is partnering with a profitable SME seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to own the finance function and partner with senior leadership. You will lead day-to-day finance operations, ensure robust controls, deliver meaningful analysis, and drive improvements in reporting, processes and systems.

You’ll combine technical finance with commercial instinct, manage a high-performing team and help steer growth as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA credentials; QBE considered.
• Experience producing management accounts and leading month-end processes.
• Strong financial controls and balance sheet reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly management accounts and month-end reporting process.
• Maintain strong financial controls and balance sheet integrity.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to provide commercial insight and support business decisions.
• Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Manage, mentor and develop the finance team.
