Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience in business partnering or commercial finance in consumer goods, FMCG, DTC or similar.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Experience owning cost or commercial inputs within budgeting and forecasting.
• Analytically rigorous, comfortable with large datasets and models.
• Clear communicator who can turn detailed data into concise insight for a non-finance audience.
• Genuinely comfortable working with non-finance stakeholders and managing pressures.
• Proactive and inquisitive, digs into variances and surfaces issues.

Responsibilities

• Act as the dedicated finance partner to key areas of the business, building credibility through consistency, reliability and a genuine interest in what they are trying to achieve.
• Attend the key planning and performance review forums, providing proactive financial challenge and support on commercial and investment decisions.
• Produce regular margin and performance analysis against plan, identifying the key drivers, variances and emerging risks.
• Support cost analysis across the business, including product and operational cost, and support negotiations and procurement decisions with rigorous modelling and scenario analysis.
• Help build and develop the MI suite, tracking performance and driving accountability through it.
• Lead cost input into the budget and reforecast cycles, building credible bottom up plans with the teams that own the numbers.
• Own key elements of the rolling forecast, keeping assumptions current, well reasoned and clearly documented.
• Build and maintain financial models that support scenario planning, particularly around cost volatility and FX exposure.
• Support capex appraisal and tracking, including business cases, post investment reviews and benefit realisation.
• Improve how cost and performance are tracked and understood across the business, developing scalable, repeatable finance tools and templates.
• Work closely with the wider finance team to keep data integrity and consistency between operational and central reporting.
