Job summary

Global Certification & Verification Group is seeking a Finance Manager to provide vital day-to-day financial support across the business and to own end-to-end finance for two recently acquired entities. The role will lead transactional finance, month-end processing and assist with systems improvements in a private-equity-backed, international environment.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
• Interest in developing a finance career; audit backgrounds welcome.
• Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisation and ability to handle varied workloads.
• Strong communication and proactive attitude.
• Willingness to travel ~1 week per month to Ireland and the North of England.

Responsibilities

• Lead transactional finance for the business.
• Support accounts payable/receivable and invoicing for professional services.
• Assist month-end processes and management reporting.
• Own cash flow tracking and 13-week cash flow submission.
• Support compliance, tax, audit and internal controls.
• Assist migration to NetSuite and improve finance processes.
