Job summary

Survey Solutions Group is seeking an ambitious Management Accountant to join the finance team and support a portfolio of group entities. You will take ownership of monthly management accounts, deliver accurate reporting, and provide commercial insight to drive performance.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will work across multi-entity group structure, manage reconciliations, support budgeting and cash flow, and contribute to process improvements as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or nearing completion with practical experience in a growing SME or mid-market business.
• Experience of multi-entity/ multi-site group structures and strong accounting foundations.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly management accounts process for designated subsidiary businesses.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
• Analyse financial performance and explain variances against budget, forecast and prior periods.
• Prepare and review journals including accruals, prepayments, payroll, fixed assets and intercompany transactions.
• Deliver timely financial information to support business decision-making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting activities.
• Assist with Group reporting and consolidated information as required.
• Act as finance business partner for assigned operating entities and stakeholders.
