Job summary

Affinia, the UK's largest purpose-led accountancy firm, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the monthly and annual reporting across a multi-entity group. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will manage a small team, ensure robust control environments, and coordinate external audits while delivering high-quality management and statutory reporting.

You will oversee month-end and year-end close, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and governance processes, with opportunities to improve

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, ACMA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Finance Manager/Financial Accountant role.
• Experience operating in a multi-entity or group structure.
• Strong experience with month-end & year-end reporting and controls.
• Experience supporting external audits and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close processes with deadlines and accuracy.
• Coordinate year-end reporting, statutory accounts, and audit.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations across group entities.
• Deliver detailed P&L, cost centre & performance reporting.
• Prepare cash flow reporting and forecasts for treasury management.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasts across the group.
• Drive process improvements and automation in finance operations.
• Lead and develop a small finance team.
• Support acquisition integrations into group reporting.
