Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners is seeking a Finance Manager in Chichester on a 12-month maternity cover contract. The role focuses on financial reporting, compliance, controls, and leading a small finance team, reporting to the Head of Finance, with on-site work initially four days a week.

You will manage monthly management accounts, group reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting, cash flow, and the statutory audit process, ensuring timely reporting and strong financial controls in a

Qualifications

Qualified finance professional with leadership experience.
Experience in financial and management reporting.
Strong IFRS knowledge.
Experience in multi-entity or group reporting structures.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs for senior leadership.
Manage monthly group reporting submissions and liaise with Group Finance.
Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting and financial planning.
Lead the annual statutory audit process and liaise with external auditors.
Oversee financial controls, process documentation and internal audit compliance.
Manage fixed asset accounting and IFRS 16 lease reporting.
Monitor payroll and pension submissions for accuracy and compliance.
Lead, develop and mentor a small finance team.
