Job summary

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is seeking a Finance Manager for the Digital Information Directorate (DID) to uphold the assurance and control framework across the Directorate. You will provide guidance and assurance to the Head of Governance and Culture on DID’s Operating Costs, including salaries/FTE and General Admin Expenses, with robust budget data and cost analysis.

You will collaborate with partner Areas, share best practices, and support budget forecasting and financial data

Qualifications

• Experience in forecasting, financial management reports, data analysis, budgeting.
• Supervisory experience of staff.
• Preparation and presentation of monthly financial management reports with analysis and recommendations.
• Applied knowledge of accruals accounting and invoice management.
• Significant experience with MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely, accurate financial reports per CFOD and DID timetable.
• Lead GAE budgeting using mandated workbooks and forecast budgets with workforce planning.
• Ensure Routines for accruals, invoices, forecasting and capacity planning are met on time.
• Oversee GAE budget and advise on forecasting costs and budget reductions.
• Contribute to workforce capacity planning and deployment of staff.
