EVERYMAN – FINANCE MANAGER

Join Our Team as a Finance Manager

We are seeking a forward-thinking Finance Manager to support our group-wide financial operations. This role involves managing financial reporting, treasury activities, systems implementation, and process improvement. You will work closely with the Group Financial Controller to ensure compliance with accounting standards and oversee financial consolidation across all business units. The position includes responsibilities such as cash flow forecasting, supplier payments, internal controls, audit management, and leading finance system enhancements.

This is a hybrid role based at our Head Office in Hampstead, North London, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and mentoring finance teams across the group.
  2. Project managing finance workstreams and process improvements.
  3. Managing monthly, biannual, and annual financial reporting and consolidation.
  4. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  5. Documenting current financial processes and preparing accounting papers for new processes.
  6. Leading bi-annual impairment reviews.
  7. Maintaining supplier relationships and managing weekly payment runs.
  8. Overseeing cash flow forecasting and debit balances.
  9. Implementing new financial systems such as Atlas and Lucanet.
  10. Enhancing finance processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Managing internal audits and preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

To qualify, you should have:

  • Fully qualified accountant status (ACA/ACCA).
  • At least 3 years’ experience managing a finance team in a multi-site environment.
  • Experience with IFRS, IFRS 16, and group consolidation.
  • Microsoft Dynamics D365 experience (beneficial).
  • PLC experience (beneficial).
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A collaborative attitude and professional approach.
