A leisure and technology business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate to join its finance function.

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, managing cashflow to meet all obligations, reviewing management accounts and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Managing a team, main duties include:

Review month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including billing, journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends, variances
Collaborate with cross-functional teams /stakeholders in Procurement and HR
Support the finance team in ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and projects
Ensure that expenses are appropriate on charged and fess collected timeously to ensure seamless positive cash flow on a monthly basis.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles, staying updated on changes, and implementing necessary adjustments.
Review payroll reports and obtain sign off for payrolls

You will be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with experience in a similar role managing teams. Reporting, cash flow and payroll team management will be highly desirable.
