Interim Finance Manager

A high-growth SaaS technology business is looking for an Interim Finance Manager to join their team during a pivotal period of growth and transformation. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in strengthening financial operations and controls while supporting strategic initiatives across the business.

In this role, you will lead the execution of month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy across all areas including payroll, accruals, and prepayments. You will take ownership of the P&L and balance sheet analysis, prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure all balances are fully substantiated and audit-ready. You will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting, including maintaining and updating a weekly forecast for key stakeholders. You will support statutory reporting requirements and manage the year-end audit, working closely with external auditors. A key part of the role will involve identifying control gaps and implementing robust financial controls to meet internal and external compliance standards. This position also offers significant exposure to cross-functional project work and wider business initiatives, including systems and process improvements. You will work closely with the finance, operations, and commercial teams, playing a critical business partnering role to drive improvements and support the growth of the business. NetSuite experience is essential, along with a strong understanding of system migrations. You must have practical experience with both US GAAP and local GAAP, and you will also have had exposure to tax compliance matters such as Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and VAT.

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CAANZ) with a solid understanding of financial controls, audit processes, and the month-end close. You will have worked in a SaaS or media/technology-driven business and be confident working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Immediate availability is essential.
