Compensation: £70,000 - £90,000 / year


Description
  • Who we’re looking for: We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our growing Finance team. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, supporting the team, the wider business, and our customers.

  • Where you’ll work: This role will be based in our Hove office 2-3 days a week.

Day to day this role will
The Finance Manager will play a key role in developing a high-quality finance team for our fast-growing FinTech business, focusing on delivering excellent service to customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Main duties and areas of responsibility:
  • Manage finance operations, including purchase ledger, international controls, and external queries.
  • Assist in producing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for review and approval.
  • Prepare financial statements for audit purposes.
  • Support tax compliance activities (sales tax, R&D, income, and corporate tax) and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Complete reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Resolve internal and external queries promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of financial control, ledger integrity, and accuracy.
  • Support strategic planning and finance projects with relevant information.
  • Build relationships with external advisors and stakeholders.

  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Proven technical ability

  • Ability to reconcile complex accounts
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Flexible working approach and prioritization skills

Preferred:
  • Experience with international finance, especially US and European markets
