The North East Combined Authority (CA) is looking to appoint a finance partner who will be supported through a chartered accountancy qualification.
You will gradually learn about key aspects of finance. The broad aim of the role is to deliver effective accounting and control to support the North East CA operational activities.
You will work towards becoming a chartered accountant, which will require study towards a relevant level 7 accounting qualification as well as specific in-house training on the North East CA policies and financial procedures.
This is a unique opportunity to gain real world experience alongside studying towards a recognised qualification.
You will hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Maths, or Business will be seen as desirable.
