Job summary

Talk Staff Recruitment in Nottingham is working with a growing technology business entering an exciting growth phase and seeks an experienced Finance Director to own the finance function and build the financial infrastructure to support the next stage.

The role is hands-on with influence, working closely with the Founder/MD, Board and investors. Salary is £75,000 - £85,000 per annum, with a 4-day week and hybrid work, minimum 2 days per week in the Nottingham Office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as FD, Head of Finance or Financial Controller.
• Experience leading a growing tech/SME business preferred.
• Commercially minded with a hands-on approach.
• Experience with board and investor reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance function.
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Board and investor reporting.
• Strengthen financial controls and processes.
• Develop finance systems and reporting.
• Support strategic decision making and future investment.
• Develop the finance team as the business scales.
