Job summary

Rebel Recruiters is seeking a hands-on Finance Director to take ownership of the financial function in Nottingham. This full-time, office-based role focuses on robust financial planning, reporting and forecasting to support growth.

You'll manage day-to-day finance activities, drive cash-flow planning and present insights to the board and investors, with external support for specialised inputs where needed.

Qualifications

• Full working knowledge of Xero and payroll.
• Experience with cash-flow forecasting.
• Experience presenting financial information to senior stakeholders and investors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the finance processes including VAT and payroll.
• Develop financial planning, reporting and forecasting.
• Present financial information to the Board and investors.
• Manage cash-flow planning and reporting, with Excel initially before moving to integrated planning in Xero.
• Handle R&D Tax Credits, Capital Allowances and asset revaluation and reporting.
