Job summary

Talk Staff Group Limited is seeking an experienced Finance Director to own the finance function and shape the financial infrastructure to support the next growth phase. The role is hands-on and offers real influence, working closely with the Founder/MD, Board and investors.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and board reporting while strengthening controls and developing finance systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as FD/Head of Finance/Financial Controller (senior finance roles)
• Senior finance leader in a growing business
• Experience in technology, engineering, manufacturing, SMEs, startups or investor-backed environments would be advantageous
• Commercially minded with a hands-on approach

We are working with a growing technology business that is entering an exciting new phase of commercial growth following significant investment.

They are now looking for an experienced Finance Director to take ownership of the finance function and help build the financial infrastructure needed to support the next stage of the business.

This is a hands-on role with genuine influence, working closely with the Founder/MD, Board and investors.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

• Proven experience working as a FD, Head of Finance or Financial Controller
• Comfortable operating as the senior finance leader in a growing business
• Experience within technology, engineering, manufacturing, SMEs, start-ups/scale ups or investor backed environments/businesses would be advantageous
• Commercially minded with a hands-on approach

Within this position, you’ll also be:

Salary & Working Hours

Salary is £75,000 - £85,000 per annum, dependant on experience

4 day working week with a hybrid model with a minimum of 2 days per week in the Nottingham Office
