Job summary

Rail Delivery Group is seeking an experienced Financial Data Analyst to design, build and operate data pipelines and a robust Power BI reporting layer across finance, people and projects. You will partner with Finance leadership to deliver automated insights and scalable dashboards supporting GBR transition decisions.

The role combines hands-on data engineering with governance, data modelling and stakeholder engagement, ensuring high-quality, timely information for Day One planning and ongoing

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience building Power BI reports and data models.
• Experience integrating data from multiple, disparate source systems.
• Solid SQL skills for data extraction, transformation and querying.
• Strong stakeholder management and data governance focus.
• Experience with data automation and ETL is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and own data pipelines from multiple systems to a central reporting layer.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards across finance, people and projects.
• Support ad hoc analytical deliverables and scenario modelling.
• Provide automation and governance to ensure reliable data.
