Job summary

Rail Delivery Group is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead the ongoing development of the BI capability and deliver high‑quality analytics across RDG programmes. You will work with stakeholders across the industry to turn complex data into actionable insights and support decision making.

You will drive the evolution of the BI platform, oversee data modelling, governance, and the migration of Tableau content to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, enabling self‑serve reporting and meaningful

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering analytical projects that support performance and decision‑making.
Strong experience building dashboards and analytical products in enterprise BI environments.
Excellent SQL and data analysis skills with complex datasets.

Responsibilities

Lead day‑to‑day development and continuous improvement of RDG's BI capability.
Shape roadmap, governance, standards for Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
Provide analytic support across RDG programmes and projects to inform decisions.
Deliver analytics projects from requirements to insight with robust outputs.
Oversee migration of Tableau content to Microsoft Fabric/Power BI for continuity.
