Job summary

DAF Fleet Services is seeking a Power BI Developer to deliver data-driven insights across the Business Change department. You will build interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, integrating data from multiple sources to enable informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, QlikView or Tableau.
• Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query.
• Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases and data warehousing.
• Good data modelling fundamentals.
• Experience connecting to multiple data sources and building data models.
• Excel proficiency and familiarity with MS Office.
• Experience with low-code tools like Power Apps / Power Automate.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of ML concepts and frameworks is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar industry and curiosity to learn.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Build robust data models and perform data ingestion within Power BI.
• Design and implement ETL processes to support reporting needs.
• Connect Power BI to databases, APIs and spreadsheets.
• Create DAX measures and calculated columns.
• Develop Power Apps and Power Automate flows to extend BI into workflows.
• Manage projects end-to-end from requirements to deployment and support.
• Use deployment pipelines and version control for environments and releases.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into BI solutions.
• Document data models, reports and processes.
• Support ongoing improvements to reporting and analytics capabilities.
