Job summary

HGF Limited is seeking a Data Analyst to own operational and management reporting across the firm. You will design dashboards and semantic models in Power BI, build self-service reporting with our Data Engineer, and ensure trusted data for decision-making.

You'll work with Finance, Business Development, and Legal teams to shape metrics and reporting standards, with opportunities to grow into advanced analytics and AI-assisted tooling as the platform evolves.

Qualifications

4+ years data analysis and/or business intelligence experience.
Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models 4+ years.
DAX 3+ years.
SQL 3+ years.
Data modelling for reporting/analytics 2+ years.
Requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement 3+ years.
Financial and/or operational reporting 2+ years.
Microsoft Fabric experience desirable 2+ years.

Responsibilities

Own the delivery and ongoing support of operational reporting across the firm.
Rebuild and enhance financial and operational reporting on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models and DAX measures.
Collaborate with Data Engineer to build intuitive data models enabling self-service reporting.
Translate business requirements into actionable reporting that answers key questions.
Maintain reporting standards, security, governance and metric definitions.
Drive adoption of the new platform and move away from legacy reporting.
Investigate reporting and data quality issues with stakeholders to ensure trusted data.
Promote data literacy through training, support and stakeholder engagement.
