Job summary

Believ, a scale-up in the UK charging network space, is seeking a Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, controls and systems improvements. You will work with stakeholders to deliver high‑quality insights and scalable processes to support growth.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role involves managing monthly and annual accounts, balance sheet governance, and coordinating statutory reporting. Hybrid work with three in-office days in London/Cardiff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and variance analysis.
• Improve management accounts, MI reporting and dashboards.
• Maintain balance sheet controls and internal governance.
• Coordinate statutory reporting and lead annual external audit.
• Oversee finance systems, drive automation and scalability.
